I was walking around one of the larger craft stores when I stumbled across this wonderful find (see photo below). I am a Graphic Artist and this is the kind of stuff I LOVE!
There's all kinds of goodness here; clock faces, vintage ballpark numbers, old maps, accounting logs, vintage photographs, old advertising signs, old bingo cards, vintage flowers, it goes on and on. It was the last one and I was so happy that it was soon going to belong to me! I'm hoping to use them in various ways like, wall art (I plan on creating frames for the larger images), and shrinking some down to accessorize a scene. When I start working in wood again, I can visualize them adding an extra pop to the piece.
Here's a peek:

Mini Flower Bouquet...
I've been playing around with mini flowers. Today I came up with a few ideas to display the flowers and thought, "wow, maybe I can sell these???".
So now I'm working on a (small, very small) collection of miniature flower bouquets and vases in different colors and vase style. I just love them.

Spring is in the Air...
Spring is in the air, but it's still a little toasty. While working on colorful flowers, I decided to add a bunch of colorful hand knitted hats and scarves. Will shorten the fringe, but they are adorable. New items coming to the shop in April (including the hat and scarves).

Yes,Flowers!...
I am so happy to share the things I worked on this week. Flowers, lots and lots of flowers are needed for the hanging flower box. I attempted flower making before, but was never happy with the results. The thin clay roses that some artist make are absolutely beautiful, but I imagine they take a lot of time to make, so I decided to go with paper.
I want color variation, so I mixed and diluted several paints and colored the paper. The colors are beautiful!! Once the paper dried, I use an mini punch and started working. Yes time consuming, but not too bad. Feeling happy with the results. Next I will attempt Hydrangea and Geraniums based off of 1 inch mini tutorial.
This week I also completed the chair, made a hanging mail catcher, as well as installed the windows in the trailer.
