Primitive Side Board...

Primitive Side Board

I love searching Pinterest for primitive furniture. I thought it would be fun to creative a piece in this style. I really tried to make it look aged, like it had been sitting outside for awhile. I added a rusted paper holder and a small basket. There are so many designs, I plan on making more in this style.

Shabby Inspired Benches

Benches for the Shabby Mini Home…

Lovely Shabby style benches in several colors for your mini homes. I will have 2 styles of benches, this style and a more rustic style with deeper Annie Sloan Chalk paint colors. They will be available at my Etsy shop soon…(okay, I am feeling a little overwhelmed by the amount of photographs I have to take, it's the one thing about selling that I absolutely hate doing. I know I must get it done, but I just don't like it! :(

Tray Tables inspired by Lea Frisoni

My Take on Lea's Tray Table

A few of the colors I will have available in my Etsy shop
These tables are inspired by the tutorial in the "The Big Book of a Miniature House". They are made from wood and rusted wire. These are just a few of the colors and shapes I will have in restocking my Etsy shop. I think they would look great next to a nicely made bed.

A Minor Distraction...

Distracted by the Basket
Paris flea market handmade miniature tote
and baskets.
Paris Grain Sack Headboard

Okay, I admit that I am easily distracted by all things mini. My intention was to get all the new items that I created up by the end of February. Then a little light started shinning in my head and I had to tinker with it…BASKETS! Paris flea market totes, then floor baskets, okay lets add that popular red stripe, then the blue stripe, one stripe, 2 stripes, I became obsessed!  Next thing I knew I had 10 or 11 baskets. I want to add a small little "x" at the bottom of the handles for extra detail and they are done.

The headboard, another distraction, but I love them!. I made 3 so far and I am trying to develop a light weight frame that will allow you to change the headboard without purchasing the entire set. I won't have the headboards for sale until I work out that issue. But you will see some of the designs in my photo staging.

So, I absolutely MUST get to photography this week, there will be lots to see :).

So close to the finish line

Almost there…

Vintage style bench with rusted handles
I am so close to the finish line on my new group of minis that I will be selling on Etsy. I believe I will have close to 100 new items! Lots of wood work. I am waiting on a new order of Chalk Paint, (a few colors I didn't have), hopefully the order will arrive today.

For the last few years, I have driven by a bench sitting in my neighbors yard, I seem to notice it each time I pass the house. I thought I would give it a shot and make it in miniature. I added the rusted handle for more detail. I measures approximately 4.5 inches in length. I am really happy with the result. I will have 2 styles of benches in wonderful colors in my new line. Okay, back to work!

So Close to Finishing My New Mini Line

New Minis Coming…

New work coming
to
fabulouslyflawedminiatures at the end of February 2015

I have been working super hard on a new line of work for fabulouslyflawedminiatures Etsy shop. "Lots" of new work coming including colorful shelves (all different styles), benches, side tables, colorful tray tables with rusted legs, and small trays for the table.  There's a primitive sideboard, new ottomans and colorful framed chalkboards.

I'm also excited to introduce a colorful bedding line that will include duvet covers with matching cases and "sand filled inserts" in wonderful cotton and linen fabric. We have been busy creating more beautiful hand knitted throws with fringe, and lots of blankets in new colors!

Lastly, I will have throw pillows, they are absolutely gorgeous!  They will come as a set of two, and the colors are wonderful. I am really excited about this group of work. I'm finishing out the small details and will start photography next week!
